![]() ![]() These new console games are made for hdr compared to last gen only “supporting it” Not one video has uploaded in hdr which is just as if not even more game changing than 4K. The real difference 2k wise is probably going to be the haptics of the ps5 controller. Games that are optimized for the PS5’s SSD will actually load faster than series X.Īgain we’ll talking marginal numbers here. Xbox series X loads games backwards compatible faster. Games will pretty much run the same resolution on both consoles. The ps5 system works slightly different in a way that could power on par with series X. In theory the Xbox is more powerful but not by a huge margin. Sent from my SM-N960U using Operation Sports mobile app It's been widely published that Series X loads games faster the PS5. The Series X is more power and runs the game at a higher native resolution. Please make this a priority comment and make a discussion about this for the 2K Devs to notice this as it will help the game more, this is for all of us whose into NBA strictly. Head pass when players 2 inch away is still happening need to be remove. Player not finishing their dribble as if the ball is stick to the hands. Players altercation for too much body contact. Player appearance for some as its obvious. with 150 new crowd animation i was hoping that they can show crowd dancing, wilding out, showing them in the big screen while on time out or cut scene while on charity strike. Arena sound and commentator is not Sync. Crowd reaction still not sync to whats happening. Replays (still doesn't show the full highlight with different angles) Weight / Gravity (players still hover around as if they floating) Body types (this players really need to have some fat on them upper part and lower part) Team mates picking up player on the floor.(this is happening all the time in NBA games) Hair movement even for braided ones (Mcgee, Howard for example) (this clothes is not part of their body, especially the torso) Clothes physics for all moving person inside the arena. I agree there should be a HUGE day one patch addressing the following: Im concern that the following is still not in the game and should be a pririty for 1st day patch. Are there some things that could be addressed? Sure, but the amount of detail & content in this game is astonishing. I think our expectations for 2K is sky high & rightfully so due to them setting the bar for sports games. Being that we still have every feature from this gen & more is a plus in my opinion. Console generation transitions can be sketchy judging off past generations. This year has been crazy for all of us to say the least, so I'm willing to cut them a little slack. The fact that they finally fixed foot planting and player sliding is HUGE for me. I hear you but I still think it's a solid foundation for things to come this gen. It's weird because it's like they have attention to detail and then miss so many "relatively" minor things that add up to a lot if that makes sense. There's SO much that wasn't touched that should've been with the power these consoles have. 2K Sports pulled a similar stunt last year with NBA 2K20 and which saw a ton of criticism from players.Yeah, this is a decent step up but this isn't worth $70 imo as this still screams current gen outside of the higher res models and textures (btw idk what happened to Dwight and Iggy being burnt). 2K Sports removed them after a storm of criticism reached the publisher. ![]() More recently though, NBA 2K21 was in the news for sneaking in unskippable real-world adverts. These will feature various improvements in both visual and performance terms. ![]() The new installment in the basketball simulation franchise will release on Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5 on the day each next-generation console launches. NBA 2K21 was released about two months back for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The next-generation version of the game hence weighs nearly 10GB more on Xbox Series S and just over 30GB on Xbox Series X. Going by that same metric, NBA 2K21 weighs about 90GB on Xbox One. NBA 2K21 hence weighs less on Xbox Series S. Xbox Series S targets 1440p instead of 4K resolution, which relinquishes the need of including any high-resolution files. Microsoft had explained that the larger file sizes of Xbox Series X will be due to high-resolution textures and improved assets. The difference actually comes down to less than 20 percent but does confirm the smaller file sizes on the all-digital console. NBA 2K21 will weigh (via Twisted Voxel) around 122GB on Xbox Series X and 101GB on Xbox Series S. NBA 2K21 has validated previous claims that installation files of next-generation games will be 30 percent smaller on Xbox Series S than on Xbox Series X. ![]()
